The Election Commission has intensified preparations for by-elections in five vacant Assembly constituencies across Tamil Nadu. District administrations and concerned officials have been directed to begin the necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The process of appointing election officers for the constituencies has already begun. Several administrative measures are being implemented to maintain transparency, efficiency, and fairness throughout the election process.
The vacant constituencies include Tiruchi East, Perundurai, Madurantakam, Dharapuram, and Ambasamudram. Political observers expect the Election Commission to announce the official election schedule for these constituencies in the coming weeks.
