Tamil Nadu’s Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Minister Ramesh visited the famous Palani Murugan Temple on Tuesday. During his visit, he chose not to use the VIP darshan facility and instead joined the common queue along with ordinary devotees waiting for darshan. His decision immediately drew attention from devotees present at the temple.
While standing in the queue, Minister Ramesh interacted with devotees and listened to their concerns regarding temple facilities and arrangements. Many visitors were surprised to see the minister standing among them without seeking any special privileges. Several devotees appreciated his simple and approachable attitude.
According to reports, the minister waited for nearly two hours before receiving darshan of Lord Murugan. Throughout the waiting period, he remained in the general queue and continued engaging with the public. His actions reflected a commitment to understanding the experiences and challenges faced by regular temple visitors.
