The production of actor Suriya’s 47th film, directed by Jithu Madhavan, has officially concluded, with the title and first-look poster set to be unveiled soon.
Chennai: The shooting for actor Suriya’s highly anticipated 47th film has officially been completed. The filmmakers confirmed this major production milestone by releasing a special behind-the-scenes video from the sets to delight fans.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, known for delivering massive Malayalam hits like ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham,’ the tentatively titled ‘Suriya 47’ has successfully finished all its filming schedules. The movie features popular actress Nazriya Nazim as the female lead, while ‘Premalu’ fame actor Naslen has been cast in a crucial supporting role.
The high-profile project is being jointly produced by director Jithu Madhavan and Zagram Studios. Adding to the film’s technical strength, acclaimed music director Sushin Shyam has been brought on board to compose the soundtrack and background score.
This project follows Suriya’s recent work in ‘Viswanath and Sons,’ directed by Venky Atluri and co-starring Mamitha Baiju, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14. Suriya’s market presence remains exceptionally strong following the monumental success of his previous film ‘Karuppu,’ which reportedly grossed 300 crores at the box office.
With the filming phase completely wrapped, the production team is now shifting its focus to the post-production work. According to reports, the official title of the movie and its first-look poster will be unveiled to the public very soon.
The makers are strategically planning to bring the film to theaters this year to coincide with the festive occasion of Diwali. As Suriya’s upcoming slate of films generates massive expectations in the industry, fans are now eagerly awaiting the official confirmation of the exact release date.
