His leadership responsibilities included serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of both the Southern Army Command headquartered in Pune and the South Western Command based in Jaipur. In a remarkable coincidence that highlights the family’s military legacy, both father and son have commanded the prestigious Sudarshan Chakra Corps during their careers. The tradition of service extends further through his younger brother, Rear Admiral Ravnish Seth, who continues to serve in the Indian Navy and is currently posted in Karwar. This rare combination of leadership across different branches of the armed forces underscores a family commitment to national service spanning generations.
