Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has urged the public to give the newly sworn-in government in Tamil Nadu some time to carry out its administration.
Coimbatore: India’s Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has said that the newly formed government in Tamil Nadu should be given some time to demonstrate its administrative performance.
Speaking to reporters in Coimbatore, he shared his views on the current political situation in the state as well as key national issues. Responding to questions from journalists about the new government in Tamil Nadu, he emphasized the need to provide the new administration with sufficient time to function.
Referring to the media’s remarks that new people have come to govern Tamil Nadu, he said that everyone wishes to give them some time. He clarified that this is not only the media’s wish but also his own.
During the same interaction, the Vice President also responded to questions regarding the ongoing student protests in Delhi. He said that political party leaders would naturally express their opinions on issues related to student protests. However, he stressed that students should conduct themselves in a manner that promotes national integration and unity under all circumstances.
C.P. Radhakrishnan pointed out that the unity of the people has been the key reason behind India’s continuous progress. He said that only through unity and patriotism can a nation earn great recognition on the global stage. He also expressed that visiting his home state of Tamil Nadu, especially Coimbatore, always brings him personal joy and a special sense of enthusiasm.
The Vice President’s remarks that the new state government should be given time to carry out its administration instead of facing immediate criticism are being viewed as significant in the current political scenario.
