In the ODI series against England, Rohit Sharma scored only 26 and 11 runs before being dismissed for low scores. Following these setbacks, questions surrounding his ODI future have intensified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keeping the 2027 ODI World Cup in mind, the BCCI has taken this decision. In an effort to build the team for the future, the selection committee has decided to provide more opportunities to young player Yashasvi Jaiswal in place of the 39-year-old Rohit Sharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
